This is guest post by Steve Parkinson, co-founder of Teach Design, a group of Design and Technology teachers. He talks about the opportunities for collaboration with The Restart Project in the classroom.
In our Restart Party Kit, we offer some small tips and suggestions that might help other Restart Party hosts get started quicker. At the end of the day, throwing a Restart Party is not rocket science. Restart Party hosts are social people – who love to get involved, learn more about their community and make great things possible, one repair at a time.
Our “residency” at City University this month was worthwhile as we reached students in need, and students who will spread our ethos. We had some really important learning that will inform how we work with universities going forward.
