E-waste, […] It’s almost time for Fixfest 2022! This year, we will be convening in Brussels for the first time in too long as a global community. We’re so happy that many of you are able to join us from all over the world, representing the diverse range of repair work that is happening all the time. […] October 15th is the sixth annual International Repair Day! This year, we want to show the world that you can find Repair Everywhere. We can’t believe it either but today marks the 10 year anniversary of the first Restart Party! That means its time for us to reflect and celebrate. We’ve been working to expand the directory to cover 8 new boroughs in West London and we’ve managed to add 147 businesses to the directory! After months of fundraising, recruiting and planning, we’re delighted to be launching our first Fixing Factory in Brent on 23rd April. Announcing a new project, made possible thanks to National Lottery funding, in partnership with climate charity Possible, Ready Tech Go, West London Waste Authority, and Mer IT. Together in London, we’re designing and testing two visions of permanent places for community-powered repair: ‘Fixing Factories’.
