Description

This Restart Party is hosted by the Remakery and is held at Angell Delight Community Centre

Bring along appliances, clothes or small items of furniture in need of repair, and take away new knowledge.

This event runs from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

Whatever needs fixing, be it a toaster or a seam or a chair leg, bring it with you; members of Restart and the Remakery will be on hand to help you diagnose the problem and hopefully fix it! In the process you'll learn more about how your appliance was put together.

The event is inspired by the The Restart Project, which runs three hour pop-up events where volunteers with technical skills help Londoners repair and maintain their electronics and small electrical appliances – for free.

If you know how to repair electrical or mechanical objects, please come along and get involved, we will have a Volunteer Welcome Session at 5pm. Check it our on Meetup for email [email protected] if like to come along: https://www.meetup.com/Restarters-London/events/252510863/

PLEASE NOTE: We're happy to help you learn how to repair, but we are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget. Please back up your data, and don't forget to donate to support our work!

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: There will be snacks!
