Description
Transition Chesterfield is making preparations to run a small-scale Repair Cafe event in October. However, we will have new arrangements in place to take account of the current restrictions.
In the first place, it would be a good idea to contact us on [email protected] regarding the type of repair you need help with. If we think it is something we can help with you will need to drop it off a week beforehand so that we can be sure that it is quarantined before we work on it. When you drop it off, you will be asked for some details and given an appointment time which we ask you to stick to. If you do not turn up for your appointment or get in touch, we will have to dispose of your item as we have no means of permanent storage.
Below are the relevant times:
Saturday, 10th October, 10 am - 11 am - Drop off items - appointments given out
Saturday, 17th October, 10 am - 12.30 pm - Repair Cafe session with appointments only
The venue is Chesterfield Baptist Church, Cross Street, Chesterfield, S40 4ST. Please wear a mask. Sanitiser will be provided.
At this point in time we are not able to offer refreshments during the event.
These arrangements may need to be changed in line with latest government advice so please keep up to date by checking with us either at [email protected] or on our website transitionchesterfield.org.uk
