Our volunteers will be there to teach you how to mend and fix your clothes. Pick up our guide on patching and darning; have a look at our repair examples; take advantage of using our hand sewing equipment and patches.
By extending the life of your clothes helps the planet as well as saving you money. At Acton Reduce and Recycle hub there will be an opportunity to recycle and reduce by dropping off clothes, laptops, toothbrushes and pens. See Reduce and Recycle hub for more details.
Ealing Repair café encourages the mending of clothes and textiles. We want to get more people valuing and wearing their clothes for longer and to move away from fast disposable fashion. We run friendly monthly gatherings around Ealing, giving suggestions, lessons, providing equipment and show examples of repairs done by our community.
If others would like to join us in at our events to repair clothes and other items, please get in touch. We would love to expand our offering.
