Description
A Restart Party is a free community repair event where volunteers help people fix their own broken or slow electronic devices and small appliances, to save them from waste and change our relationship with electronics.
Our Restart Parties have been a great success with our first four Fixer Volunteers assessing and repairing a set of Active PA Loudspeakers, a NAD HiFi and a set of GHD hair straighteners.
Our second Restart party assessed and identified the problem with a Tennis Ball launcher – potentially saving the local tennis club around £1,500.00 on a replacement unit.
