What am I expected to learn?
From Repairing Electrical Gadgets:
- Learn to repair household gadgets-Iron box; Table lamp etc.
- Bring your own electrical gadgets and learn to diagnose it yourself
- Learn soldering etc
Would you like to find out what's wrong with that broken toaster, electric weighing scale? Would you like some help and the right tools to fix it?
From Cloth Mending /Upcycle:
- Learn most commonly used stitches for mending
- Bring your project of repairing /upcycle and complete it with the help of mentors
This will be a hand sewing class, so no need to be a pro on the sewing machine! Which means you will be able to learn the techniques and continue to fix your clothing without any machinery.
You will leave the workshop feeling inspired to continue fixing and rejuvenating all of your favourite pieces that need a bit of TLC or even if you just want to customise your t-shirts or jeans to make them a bit more exciting. You can bring more than 1 project.
