Volunteers at a Restart Party fixing devices, cropped on hands

Description

The next Restart Party will take place this coming Saturday, February 23rd, from 2pm to 5pm in the Limerick FabLAB, Rutland Street, Limerick.

These free events are being held as part of a series of electronic repair workshops in Limerick over the coming months. These Restart parties are open to the general public and are being offered free of charge on a first come, first serve basis. People are encouraged to drop in with their broken phones, laptops, hoovers or other electrical or electronic appliances. Skilled repair volunteers will help people diagnose and fix these broken or slow electronic devices and small appliances, to save them from waste and help change our relationship with electronics.

This event is part of the REFER (Raw Engagement for Electronics Repair) project, an EU/EIT RAW Materials project being run in collaboration with the University of Limerick and The Restart Project. Find out more about the project at https://www.referproject.eu/
