UPDATE: In response to the pandemic, this event is CANCELLED.

*If you identify as a man, this event is not for you! There are plenty of others for you*

Hurray! A skillshare on electronics just for women and non-binary people! At these skillshares, we create a space to learn collaboratively. These events are designed to increase volunteer gender diversity at our community Restart Parties.

This session will be about basic electronics: We will learn about different electronic components and practise to use a multimeter to detect faults. We'll also try to build our own electronic circuits.

You don't need any experience to join! This skillshare is a great way learn in an open and friendly environment, created for and by us. Come along, bring your friends and learn some new skills together.

None of us are professionals, you don’t have to be an expert to learn and contribute. We will share our knowledge with each other and learn by doing.

Accessibility: The event venue is on the ground floor. Step-free access and an accessible bathroom are available. Please get in touch if you have questions!

Rosie the Restarter (for women & non-binary people)

[If you identify as a man, please do not join this group.]

We organise skillshares run for/by women and non-binary people. They create a space to share, boost confidence and get technical together.

We want to bring gender diversity to our London Restart Parties and empower women and non-binary people to get stuck in repairing.

We believe everyone should have the right to repair. We believe everyone should have the capacity to take full ownership of their devices.
