Description

Repair tables for this event will probably include the following.

1. Laptops and Pcs

2. Anything that can be repaired (including small repairs to waterproofs) with resins and glues

3. Textile clothes repairs

4. Household electric goods, especially vintage

5. Bike Repairs

All repairs are done by volunteers and as such, we may not be able to repair all of the above on each cafe.

We are really happy to be doing this event at our making and repairing space in Tod College called Todmorden Makery - to keep informed about future repair cafes and about being a member of the space sign up for email updates here -https://todmordenmakery.org.uk

Todmorden Repair Cafe / Makery

Todmorden Maker Space is a member-run space where volunteers help people do the following activities in drop-in and workshop sessions.

  • Repair – repair cafe activities – bikes, electronic appliances, anything that can be glued, knife sharpening & textile repairs 
  • Tool library – weekly rental of power tools such mitre saws, cordless drills and garden strimmers
  • Art and Craft Making – woodworking, textiles, low-cost crafting materials 
  • Refurbishing Computers – for distribution to household that need them (Tech Tastic)
  • Software training – code club, art and tech workshops for family, kids and adults
