Repair Cafe in the local village hall. We will have volunteer repairers for electronics, textiles, small tool sharpening, watch batteries, jewellery cleaning, bike MOTs.
We also have a 3D printer demo and the local community police officer giving out DNA kits for bike tagging.
Volunteers will also be wiping the data on mobile phones so they can be donated to Oxfam.
We are a Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free community. As part of our Sustainable Living Fair we have just launched the Repair Cafe. We hope to run 4 cafes a year in our village hall.
