We host monthly skillshares in our London home 3Space. These workshops are led by volunteers and designed to strengthen our community outreach work by motivating our volunteers and guaranteeing diversity in our volunteer pool.
We have two alternating, bi-monthly workshop series.
R4R
Restarters 4 Restarters are skill-sharing workshops for our repair volunteers. The topics come from within the volunteer community and these workshops are coordinated by our volunteer coordinator. To participate, simply volunteer at a London Restart Party one time and become a Restarter!
Rosie the Restarter
Having identified gender balance as a challenge in our pool of volunteers, we organise skillshares run by/for women and non-binary people. They create a space to share, boost confidence and get technical together. These are designed to be fun way of boosting confidence to increase volunteer gender diversity at Restart Parties.
