Book if you can at https://repaircafe.leightonbuzzard.org so we know what items to expect (although note that we triage on the day not before hand so your number on the system is not your allocated slot on the day)
Bring 1 item for repair only so everyone has a chance to have stuff repaired (if you bring another item you may need to go to back of queue.
You are expected to stay with your item and speak to the repairer as ‘Repair Cafes’ are mostly about sharing skills
Remember we are all volunteers and we are unfunded. We welcome donations which are returned to support the Repair Cafe and other Totally Leighton Buzzard community activities
Totally Leighton Buzzard is a grassroots residents voluntary community organisation that promotes and supports independent local businesses and community events.
We have successfully organised several town-wide shop local campaigns (including three local "FiverFest" campaigns, part of a wider national campaign created by 'Totally Locally' hence the name of the group), a town Jumble Trail and two annual free creative Fun Palaces events.
We are also starting a new monthly Repair Cafe initiative in Leighton Buzzard (Watch this space!).
Our aim is to bring people together and make our town even more vibrant and welcoming. We are doers and brimming with ideas. We operate by the rule of ‘get it done’ and ‘be positive’.
