The Repair café @Hitchin Hackspace will host its next event on Saturday 28th October 2023
from 11:00 at Hitchin Hackspace.

The Repair Cafe is run entirely by volunteers and enables members of the public to bring their damaged items for volunteers to give them a new lease of life, preventing thousands of repairable household items from going to landfill every year.
Anything that’s broken (and which you can manage to carry on your own to the Repair Café) is welcome and has a good chance of getting properly repaired.
We will have a range of expert repairers available such as:
– electricals
– sewing and textiles
– bicycles
– hardware (computers, phones etd)
– glassware
etc
You can even enjoy a cuppa and a cake whilst you wait.
Do you have a talent for fixing electrical, electronic or mechanical items, garden tools, bicycles, textiles or clothing – or something else entirely? If so and you’d like to help at our repair sessions, we’d love to hear from you.
