Description
The Repair Revolution is back for 2022 and is kicking off in Hāwea!
Do you love stuff and hate waste?
Do you want to renew, revive, and repair your broken things to give them a new lease on life and keep them out of landfill?
Are you looking to share or learn new skills?
Join Wastebusters for this fun, FREE, feel good event!
Would you like to help repair?
We’re looking for volunteer fixers of all kinds to join us. Whatever your super fixing power is (bikes, furniture, electronics, clothes, anything!), if you love repairing things and helping others learn, we would love to have you on board.
Please sign up using the following form:

What can you bring along?
As we gather volunteer fixers we will be able to specify what items would be best to bring, but generally, anything that’s broken and you can manage to carry on your own is welcome! Think clothing, small furniture, crockery, bicycles, toys and some electrical appliances. We will update this event as we get closer to the day and profile some of our volunteers and their fabulous fixing skills.
Wastebusters are hosting repair events in Hāwea, Wānaka, Queenstown and Arrowtown with co-hosts Sustainable Queenstown, thanks to funding from Queenstown Lakes District Council. For further details and FAQs see www.wastebusters.co.nz under the Repair tab
