Laptop upgrade session – booking essential
Laptop running slow and you wish it would run faster?
We will be offering a laptop upgrade session on 22nd August 2023. This will cover:
- opening and cleaning your computer
- finding the RAM slots and how to add more RAM memory
- finding the hard drive and how to replace it with a Solid State Drive
- ordering the necessary parts online
There will be a follow up session for those who have got the parts and do not want to carry out the process at home on their own.
For the session you will need to bring:
- A laptop
- A phone or other device with internet and a camera
- Paper and pen if that is how you like to take notes
- if you have them, small brushes (makeup brushes and the ones you get with hair dying kits are ideal)
If you happen to be a bit of a whizz at upgrading computers yourself, please feel free to come along and help others out at the session!
