Volunteers at a Restart Party fixing devices, cropped on hands

Description

Want to repair your stuff?  Join our volunteer Fixers who will get you involved in repairing your broken household items. Have a cake and a drink in the downstairs hall at Sherwood Methodist Church. Depending on volunteer availability, we will be repairing small electricals, bikes, jewellery, knitwear & clothing. Keep in touch via Facebook to find out which fixes are available on the day.

We are a voluntary organisation and the event is free to attend. Donations are welcome to keep our group going.

Want to get involved? We are always keen to have new Fixers, organisers and cake bakers on board.

*********

Please note: This is a community repair event and we are happy to help you fix your items, but you are responsible for their safety at all times. Please back-up data on your devices before the event.

One item per person please.  Supervised children are welcome.

*********

Please come in through the Mansfield Road entrance of the Church (opposite the old Fat Cat pub).

Parking: on the surrounding streets.

Buses: Lime and Purple lines, Bingham Road stop.

Nottingham Fixers

The rejuvenated Nottingham Fixers are a band of volunteers who want to change the culture from 'if it's broken then chuck it', to 'if it's broken let's fix it.' And we like to have a cuppa and cake while we're doing it!
