Forest Fixers at The Mill
Repair Club and Training Session
Do you like fixing electrical stuff?
Do you think you might like fixing electrical stuff?
The training session will be mostly for people who would like to fix electrical stuff but don’t have much experience. This training session is part of a series of 8 which will run between now and the end of the year.
It will run alongside our usual repair club, which is for fixers to spend the evening fixing with others and sharing repair skills. If you are not offered a place on the training course, repair club is a good place to start.
The training sessions and repair club are FREE but you are expected to volunteer for at least two repair cafes a year as a fixer, a host or a data inputter.
You may just turn up for repair club but please book for the training sessions by emailing us at [email protected]. It would be a good idea to come to a couple of repair clubs before this date so that we can get an idea of your current skills and training needs. If you can’t, please let us know your current skill level. We will let you know if you have a place on the training course by 20th June 2023.
Please note that these events are different from our usual repair events where members of the public are able to bring in items for repair. This is just fixers and potential fixers – please come along if you’d like to learn how to fix!
