Description

Important: This event is a induction session, where we will be welcoming new volunteers to the community.

Join our volunteer network and start your journey in the wonderful world of community repair! At this short-and-sweet volunteer induction we will discuss our ethos, what to expect at events and our safety guidelines. There will also be space to ask questions from experienced Restart volunteers.

The induction takes place at 16:00, at the end of the Restart Party in Balham with Tooting Restarters which runs from 13:00-16:00, more details here. You’re welcome to come earlier and check out what volunteering with us looks like (though there is no obligation to do so).

Some experience in electronics repair and/or a desire to upskill is a requirement. Children must be accompanied by adults.

If you would like to check out (and sign up to) to our safety guidelines in advance, you are welcome to. Visit this link: https://therestartproject.org/pre-register/. Otherwise you can read the guidelines on the day.

Please RSVP if you plan on attending 🙂

You can message me on Talk or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions!
