Volunteers at a Restart Party fixing devices, cropped on hands

Description

Join this free Whangarei community gathering in which people with repair skills share their time and talents to fix their community’s belongings.

For this event, volunteers donate their time to help repair small appliances and electronics, textiles/clothes, tool sharpening, bicycle repair and cleaning, and other household items. (Full list coming later)

If you know the specific part needed to repair your item, we ask that you bring it along. Bring your toaster that no longer toasts, jumper with a hole in the elbow, and excitement to get these belongings repaired while also learning how they did it and ways you could do it yourself next time!

There will also be wonderful flat whites and baking to help fund the venue hire
