Description

Volunteer fixers help repair household and electrical items brought along by members of the public, from 10am till 1pm (items can be brought in up to 12 noon). As
well as welcoming anyone popping in with things for fixing, these volunteers also collect broken
electrical items to repair and sell on second-hand to reduce the amount ending
up in landfill. If you have items to donate, or if you would like to train up
as a repairer, please contact Jo:

The Wantage Mix

The Wantage Mix is a cooperative community space for Wantage and the surrounding area

The Mix offers skills workshops, upcycling activities, resource swaps, repair cafes, meetings and information; as well as hosting hot desking and local groups. Its aim is to provide practical ways to live more sustainably and to bring our local community together, so we are more resilient in the face of economic and environmental challenges. The Mix is run by Sustainable Wantage. Sustainable Wantage is a non-profit cooperative – a ‘Society for the Benefit of the Community’
