We’re hosting this event together with Transition Town Tooting, who have also invited clothes menders. (So bring clothes to mend too!) We will have some international guests at this event, who want to take Restart Parties back to their home cities.
We help you learn how to fix all kinds of devices, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts if necessary and more. Take back control of your e-stuff, never feel victim to obsolescence again.
Slow laptops, broken printers, smartphones, coffee grinders, you name it. We will have drinks and snacks, including from the amazing Pooja Sweets, and be in this vibrant community space.
Please arrive before 4:30pm if you would like help and remember: we’re happy to help for you to learn how to repair.
We are not repair professionals, and Restart Parties are a community self-repair space. Attending means that you take responsibility for your own gadget, your own data, so please do not forget to back-up your data. And bring all relevant cables and leads.
