The first Fixfest and future Fixfest(s)

If everything goes well, we will continue to work together in key areas over coming years. And there was much interest in a Fixfest 2019 hosted by others group – watch this space.

The very first International Repair Day

We celebrated the first ever International Repair Day, which will fall on the third Saturday of October every year from now on. We’re just getting started, and next year will be much bigger.

Fixfest’s visual rallying cry

Our friend, Buenos Aires repair activist, designer Marina Pla to help us come up with a visual identity to match our excitement about Fixfest. This is an open and reusable identity, reflecting the challenges of repair.

The power of citizen-generated data: why even failed repairs count

Every little bit of data we collect has been going into our Fixometer database, where we are steadily compiling valuable information about which products that are failing the most frequently, why they are failing, and whether we are able to repair them.
