Starting restart in schools

This month, we will begin a ten-session enrichment programme with students at the Archer Academy, a school in North London. We will start with a dive into why we need to change our relationship with electronic and get hands-on.

Repair in school, around the world

We are seeing hints that electronics repair is spreading and proliferating in both primary and secondary school, in Europe and North America.

Restart Party Host Profile: Meet James

James has been tinkering from a very young age, honing his skills on dodgy cars and motorbike engines before moving to electrical devices. He organises Restart Parties in Hackney, North London, alongside the Hackney Fixers.

Calling student leaders (and their teachers)!

We’re recruiting a couple of student leaders of secondary school age to help lay the foundations for a global student campaign against our throw-away relationship with electronics.

Let’s get the party started: Learn how to run a Restart Party

Join our special training event in East London on Saturday 23 July to help community groups get started running Restart Parties. The training will provide interested groups with all they need to start running events.
