Restart @school session 2: Our stress, worker stress
How often do we connect our own predicament with those across the world? In Session 2 of our pilot enrichment project at Archer Academy, we tried to associate the stress we feel in our consumerist, status-focused society with that transferred to workers.

Restart @school session 1: The environmental impact of gadgets
We’ve started our ten-week enrichment project with Archer Academy students in north London. For our first session, we met the students and delved into what motivates us to take action.

TGIF: Thank God I’m not in a Factory
We have created elaborate empathy buffers. Not just in relation to the people who make our gadgets, but to the people most impacted by the massive greenhouse gasses emitted in electronics production.

Tracing minerals and using our electronics ethically
Our mission is not just fixing, but connecting the dots between the way we use (and discard!) electronics, and the way they are produced. It is understanding – and intervening to reduce – their social and environmental impacts.

Restarting with educators and students
We are looking to work with institutions and educators who can help us find appropriate ways to catalyse restarting within schools. A school in New York kicked things off, and now we are talking with two schools in London about collaboration in 2016.
