We’ve repaired for over five years in our communities. Now we are witnessing worrying developments, including the emergence of products that are simply — and unnecessarily — disposable. Some are even single-use.

Restart @school session 9: Exploring the value of gadgets for reuse and recycling
Before launching into an “urban mining” session on raw materials and recycling, we emphasised that reuse always comes before recycling. Then we “mined” with students working to identify the elements and minerals in the parts.

Through December, you can join us on our virtual tour bus round 14 London boroughs. Our Restart the Capital tour of London, supported by Recycle for London is taking us to new places, as well as to old friends who regularly run Restart Parties in their community.

Invite your MP to repair with us!
We would love our friends and supporters to invite their MPs to fix with us at a November Restart Party in Parliament. The time is ripe for government to feel what needs to change!

Why Europe fails to recycle e-waste and some solutions
Despite the best efforts of legislators, regulators and law enforcement, in Europe, we continue to dispose of e-waste in the most inefficient and dangerous ways. Right here, in our own back garden. The solution is citizen-centred.
